About

Daily Gluttony Food Blogger

Hello!

My name is Jessica and I decided to start this blog to share with you my recipes and hopefully show people that good, home cooking isn’t that hard! I hope you enjoy and that you find something tasty to try.

A little about me.. I moved from Sydney to country NSW at the start of 2012 so it has been a little city girl meets country but we are beginning to work each other out and are forming a lovely relationship. I am married to the world’s most lovely man, though I am obviously biased, I expecting my first baby in October 2014, so you can expect to see some more family friendly content. I work in media, I love cooking and eating, I read, I watch movies, I attempt the occasional DIY project I have been building a shoe rack for 5 years, I love fashion and I have a dog. I would like a cat too.

To me food is one of the greatest joys in life. To create flavoursome, balanced meals that showcase the products in use is a true creation. I appreciate my ingredients and I allow their beauty and natural flavour to shine. Through Daily Gluttony I want to show people that cooking doesn’t have to be scary and that making good food is enjoyable. A meal is about relaxing at the end of the day, cooking something nourishing for your body, and enjoying it with family, friends or by oneself.

“You don’t have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces, just good food from fresh ingredients.”

– Julia Child

I hope you enjoy xx

Not sure why it took me so long to find you Jess! Lovely blog. You’re really gifted at creating realistic recipes for busy cooks who want something nourishing at the end of the day. Lots of drool-worthy photos, too! Anyway, following you now and just wanted to send forth a ‘hi’ from a fellow Aussie (albeit on the other side of the country!). Looking forward to reading more goodness from you! Laura x
